Here’s a little sneak peek at Revenger #2, written by me with artwork by the awesome Michael Powell. Below is my script for the first page, followed by some notes Mike made and his thumbnail for the final layout. From Michael: “Here’s what I came up with, since I failed to draw the nightstand and framed photo in the previous story. In panel 3, I’ve drawn David ending the call, and in the background there’s a large family portrait above the tv in the ‘living room’ area.”

It’s all about the storytelling and the pacing, which Mike nailed. Moving the photo from a nightstand to behind the TV doesn’t change a thing. Plus, he drew that last panel EXACTLY how I’ve imagined it since I first came up with it — and I’ve had that in my head for months before writing it!
